Our main office and hologram manufacturing facility is located in East London, a mile from Canary Wharf, the heart of London's financial centre. Located at Trinity Buoy Wharf which was once a site for London's naval engineering, and is now a cultural centre for many up and coming artists. It is also home to London's only lighthouse which has close ties to the famous scientist Michael Faraday. The 02 Arena, now the world's most popular venue for concerts lies immediately opposite us on the south side of the River Thames.
Recording a high quality hologram require precision equipment including isolation tables, lasers and optical devices, which need to be accurately set-up, and aligned. Our London site has a large inventory of equipment and several laboratory areas allowing us to take on bespoke customer projects for clients in addition to producing our standard range of display hologram products.
The facility also has departments for filming and computer imaging to prepare footage for the holograms, plus darkrooms that can be adapted to work with materials sensitive to a range of different wavelengths.
Our BB holographic materials are made at a separate site located in Maldon, Essex. The facility has a filtered air cleanroom environment to ensure the emulsion has minimal contamination, together with laboratory and darkroom areas. There is also a Research and Development department, which includes modern measuring and customised engineered equipment for categorizing and improving the emulsion characteristics, and designing new product lines for the BB range.
