Holograms are well recognised for their use as artistic and display pieces due to their ability to produce a 3 dimensional image that seems to defy explanation. Advances in lasers, lighting and optical techniques mean that a hologram is now able to accurately reproduce an object in full colour so it appears visually almost indistinguishable from the original. This is the growing field of true-colour holography and we are proud to be involved at the forefront of the technology.
We have also developed the Moviposter™, a 3 dimensional animated hologram designed for use in advertising. This captures an interactive 3D footage sequence. Once illuminated, any passer-by can see the full effect of the holographic image without the need for special glasses, in contrast to the recent trend of 3D movies at the cinema.
All of our display holograms are recorded as a master hologram from which other copies are made. This master hologram is hand-made by one of our trained holographers using a special laser process together with our BB holographic plates. Advances in replication techniques also developed in-house have made holograms more suitable for larger campaigns and for use in merchandising. Our most recent addition to our product range is the True Colour Reflection Stereogram, which comes with its own tabletop or wall mounted viewer and is ideal for countertop advertising or as a high-end personal collectable.
