ColourHolographic Ltd was founded in 1998 by Michael Medora, a well-known holographer and Nigel Robiette, a filmmaker highly skilled in animation, live action and special effects. It all began in 1991, when Mike and Nigel produced their first hologram, a Star Trek Limited edition hologram. In 1998, a Tiffany’s diamond was used to produce a hologram for a diamond exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History, which in turn fuelled Colour Holographic’s birth.

By the end of 2002 Colour Holographic had the expertise and technology to produce laminated holograms on tri-acetate film, enabling production in volume. The company now manages all aspects of Hologram implementation for its clients around the world; from initial imaging, through to production, distribution, installation and site management, to maintenance and merchandising.

Colour Holographic Ltd produces unique, ground breaking holographic products. Central to this is Moviposter™, a full colour three dimensional animated image recorded using our own BB emulsion. It is possible to for us to achieve an animation as smooth as watching a video, but with the image projecting upto 300mm infront of the hologram.

No wonder our holograms are capable of stopping passers by in their tracks resulting in better brand awareness. Colour Holographic is being integrated within campaigns to advertise some of the worlds most recognised brands – Nike, Diageo, Cadbury’s, Sony etc. MoviPoster™ has for over 4 years been instrumental in promoting WB blockbuster movies within 120 cinema sites across the UK and Ireland.
