A Moviposter™ is a hologram ideally suited for use in advertising that displays a full colour, 3 dimensional moving image as a viewer walks by. The animation unfolds smoothly compared to other 3 dimensional posters such as those made with a lenticular screen, and the action takes place relative to the walking speed of the viewer creating a true interactive 3D experience that the viewer can re-wind and speed up at will. The Moviposter™ can record up to 3 seconds of animation and appears in true full colour when viewed from the correct height.
The process involves first working with a client to generate movie footage for the Moviposter™, or if possible to use the client's own existing footage. Our in-house specialists will advise on suitable artwork giving the most impressive 3D experience in the final hologram. Footage can either be high-resolution live action, CGI or a combination of the two.
Once footage is agreed, a master hologram is made using our own BB material grain, by a laser recording process. This master hologram is then used to make copies onto tri-acetate film, making them safe for display in public areas and easy to ship anywhere in the world.

The Moviposter™ can be lit using a halogen spot at the correct angle, which will reconstruct the holographic image. We will advise clients on the best way and locations to display the Moviposter™ for maximum impact. The Moviposters™ are transparent and can either be backlit to create the impression of an image suspended in space, or frontlit if provided with a mirror backing. Sizes for the Moviposter™ range from 30x40cm up to a maximum size of 50x60cm, with other sizes available on request.
