A Real World Template Design for Joomla

A hologram is able to produce a highly accurate visual reproduction of a real object due to its ability to recreate the pattern of travelling light (wavefront) reflected off the object during the hologram's recording process. When replayed, the hologram converts the light illuminating it into the same moving light wavefront that came from the object.

What this means in practice is that when observers look at the hologram, they will see an image of the object as if it was really there. They will be able to move around and see the object from any angle within the viewing zone. Examining the image with a magnifying glass will show up all the details and intricacies present in the original object as it would in real life. The capture of this level of detail is only made possible by the very high resolution of our BB emulsion used to record the hologram.

Our technical expertise with true colour holography means that the hologram will also closely reproduce the original colours of the object. People are unable to tell the difference when viewing the hologram and object side by side. As a result holograms now have the potential to be used to preserve as a complete visual record any rare objects that may be subject to deterioration over time, or to display expensive items for public observation whilst the real object is safely locked away. Replicating such a hologram would even allow one-off items to be on display in several different locations at the same time.

Jonathan Ross runs a fully dedicated holographic and art gallery located at 286 Earls Court Road, and on tour, and he commissioned Colour Holographic to make two holograms, one of an early 19th century ‘Strawberry’ pattern Davenport china jug, and the other of a pair of 20th century ceramic Chinese ‘Dogs of Fo’, flanking a contemporary carved bone Puzzle Ball from China.

The realism never fails to astonish viewers, who feel compelled to look round the back of the hologram to see if there is an object sitting there in a display case. Those who have only seen monochrome or rainbow holograms before are really impressed with the accuracy of colour rendition in these images.  I was absolutely thrilled with the job CHL did in recording my objects for the exhibition. These are the brightest full colour holograms that I have seen.”
